Pros
  • ✓ Contains saffron, the one ingredient here with memory trials: small studies in Alzheimer’s disease found 30 mg a day did about as well as standard drugs.
  • ✓ All ten ingredients are named and the seller lists its references, so its claims can be checked.
  • ✓ One a day with food, a one-time payment and no subscription.
  • ✓ Prices are clearly listed, with free US shipping on three or six bottles and no countdown timer on the order page.
  • ✓ Built around bacopa, the memory botanical with the most randomised-trial evidence, plus lion's mane, which has small but promising trials.
  • ✓ The cheapest supplement we review per month: $49 for one bottle, down to $29 a bottle in the six-pack.
  • ✓ A 365-day money-back guarantee, the longest we have seen, covering the 12 weeks bacopa needs to show an effect.
  • ✓ A calm, low-pressure sales page with restrained claims - no countdown timers or stock warnings.
  • ✓ Sold as stimulant-free, and none of its five named ingredients is a stimulant.
Cons
  • ✗ No label and no amounts, so the dose of saffron, the one memory ingredient, is unknown.
  • ✗ Most ingredients - berberine, cinnamon, banaba, olive leaf, kudzu and Moro orange - are blood sugar or weight ingredients with no memory trials.
  • ✗ Sold on a microplastics story; no study shows any supplement removes plastics from the brain.
  • ✗ No Supplement Facts label is shown, and even the format is muddled: the bottle pictured says 30 tablets, the FAQ says capsule.
  • ✗ No single bottle: the smallest order is two bottles for $158 plus shipping.
  • ✗ The refund policy is stricter than the sales page: 60 days from delivery, every bottle returned at your own cost, minus shipping fees.
  • ✗ Berberine can interact with diabetes medicines and many other drugs, and should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  • ✗ The vendor says there are nine ingredients but names only five, and publishes no supplement facts label.
  • ✗ No amounts are disclosed, so the bacopa dose and whether it is a standardised extract cannot be checked.
  • ✗ No trial of the finished product has been published; the evidence is for individual ingredients.
  • ✗ Bacopa commonly causes stomach upset, and bacopa and schisandra can interact with some medications.
  • ✗ Support is by email only, and the shipping terms on the page are inconsistent.

Comparison Analysis

Both are memory supplements sold through ClickBank to adults worried about forgetfulness and brain fog, and neither publishes a Supplement Facts label, so with either one you are trusting amounts you cannot see. Beyond that they have little in common: NeuroVera is built around the best-studied memory herb, while most of Phytomem One's ingredients are studied for blood sugar and weight.

What is in them

Phytomem One is taken once a day with food; the bottle pictured says 30 tablets, while its FAQ says one capsule. It names ten ingredients, with no amounts: saffron, fucoxanthin and fucoidan from brown seaweed, oleuropein from olive leaf, berberine, Ceylon cinnamon, banaba leaf, kudzu flower, Morosil (a Moro orange extract) and xylitol. NeuroVera, from Nutraville, is two capsules a day. Its page says it has nine ingredients but names only five, again with no amounts: bacopa, lion's mane, gotu kola, shilajit and schisandra.

Transparency

This is the one place Phytomem One comes out ahead, 2.5 against 2.0 on our scores: it names all ten ingredients and lists its references, while NeuroVera leaves four of its nine unnamed. Phytomem One's reference list, though, contains no study of memory in people taking any of its ingredients.

Evidence

NeuroVera's lead ingredient is far better tested, and it scores 3.5 on evidence against Phytomem One's 2.0. Meta-analyses of randomised trials find that bacopa modestly improves memory recall and attention after about 12 weeks of a standardised extract, typically around 300 mg a day, and lion's mane has small but promising trials. Phytomem One's only memory ingredient is saffron: five small trials, mostly in people with Alzheimer's disease or mild cognitive impairment, found that 30 mg a day did better than placebo, and there is very little research in people without memory problems. Its other nine ingredients are blood sugar, weight-loss or sweetener ingredients with no memory trials. Its sales story about plastic fragments in the brain rests on a real 2025 study that measured plastics, not memory, and no study shows that any supplement removes them. Neither finished product has been tested in a published trial, and with no amounts on either, you cannot tell whether the bacopa or the saffron reaches the doses studied.

Safety

Phytomem One's berberine can add to the effect of diabetes medicines, slows the liver enzymes that break down many drugs, and should not be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding; its xylitol is highly toxic to dogs. NeuroVera's bacopa commonly upsets the stomach, bacopa and schisandra can affect how the liver processes some drugs, and bacopa may add to sedatives and thyroid medication. With either one, check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take regular medication.

How they are sold

NeuroVera has one of the calmest sales pages in the category, with no countdown timer, no stock warnings and restrained wording; its one nudge is a claim that 97% of customers choose six bottles. Phytomem One's order page is calm too, but its sales videos rest on the microplastics story, the footer says their visuals may be AI-assisted and names have been changed, and there are upsell offers after checkout. That is why it scores 2.5 for buying experience against NeuroVera's 4.0.

Price and refund

NeuroVera costs less at every size: $49 for one bottle, $117 for three ($39 each) and $174 for six ($29 each). Phytomem One has no single bottle: it starts at $158 for two ($79 each) plus shipping, then $177 for three ($59 each) and $294 for six ($49 each). NeuroVera gives 365 days: email support and return whatever you have not used to Tallmadge, Ohio, for a full refund. Phytomem One gives 60 days from delivery, and you must send back everything you received to Largo, Florida, at your own cost, to be refunded the purchase price minus shipping fees. Bacopa needs about 12 weeks to show an effect, and the best-known saffron trials ran for 16 and 22 weeks, so only NeuroVera's window covers a fair trial.

Verdict

NeuroVera. It is built around bacopa, the memory herb with the most trial evidence, costs less at every package size and gives a year to ask for a refund against Phytomem One's 60 days. It scores 3.7 on our rubric against Phytomem One's 2.8. Its weak point is transparency: it names only five of its nine ingredients and shows no label, so the bacopa dose cannot be checked. Memory problems that are new or getting worse deserve a doctor's visit before any supplement, because causes such as low vitamin B12, thyroid problems, depression and sleep apnoea are treatable.
