The Genius Switch Review: What a $39 Brain Audio Program Can and Cannot Do
Last updated: · How we review
The Genius Switch is a $39 digital audio series sold on the idea that sound can “switch on” the corpus callosum — the band of nerve fibres connecting the two halves of the brain — to boost brain power and creativity. This review covers what the sales page actually tells you, what the research behind its claims shows, its use of digitally dramatised testimonials, and how refunds really work.

What The Genius Switch is
The Genius Switch is a digital product: an "audio series" you download and listen to, sold for a one-time $39 at geniusswitchoriginal.com. ClickBank processes the order and lists it as a digital product with immediate access. There is nothing to swallow and nothing is shipped.
Almost everything about it is explained in a sales video. The written page gives the price, the guarantee and a list of references, but not how long the sessions are, how many tracks there are or what kind of audio is used. Descriptions elsewhere online range from 7 to 30 minutes a day, and most come from affiliate pages, so we have not relied on them.
At a glance
- Format: digital audio series, instant download
- Price: $39, one-time
- Guarantee: 90 days according to the sales page — but see the refund section below
- Our score: 3.2 out of 5 — see how we scored it
The claim: a "switch" between the two halves of the brain
The pitch centres on the corpus callosum, the thick band of nerve fibres that connects the left and right hemispheres. The idea is that better communication across it means sharper thinking and more creativity, and that the right audio can "activate" it.
The anatomy is real, and most of the references the page lists are genuine studies — on how the corpus callosum develops, how it relates to intelligence and creativity, and how it changes with age. What none of them does is test an audio recording, and none shows that listening to sound changes the corpus callosum. One "reference" is a PDF from PSYCH-K, a commercial self-help method, rather than a scientific paper.
What the research on brain audio actually shows
Most products like this use binaural beats or similar "brainwave entrainment" — playing tones intended to nudge brain activity towards a particular rhythm. A 2019 meta-analysis of binaural beats found a small-to-moderate overall effect on memory, attention and anxiety, but the studies were small, used very different methods and produced inconsistent results. There is no published trial of The Genius Switch itself.
Relaxing audio can genuinely help some people feel calmer and more focused, in the same way music or a short meditation can. That is a reasonable thing to spend $39 on. It is a long way from "rev up your brain power".
Testimonials and the sales page
The page's own small print says that user experiences "may be dramatized via digital avatars" and that some of the people featured have "a personal connection to the creators". In other words, the faces you see may not be real customers, and some of the people speaking are connected to the business. Treat the success stories accordingly. The crossed-out "regular" prices of $200, $100 and $49 are there to make $39 look like a bargain.
How the refund actually works
The sales page and footer promise a 90-day money-back guarantee, and the ClickBank checkout labels it "100% Money Back Guarantee". But the "Returns" link on the site leads to a refund policy written for a different, physical product: it is headed "NeuroActivate", talks about unopened bottles and gives a 60-day limit. That policy cannot apply to a download, and the contradiction is careless at best.
In practice, refunds on ClickBank purchases are requested through ClickBank's order support at clkbank.com, and ClickBank's own checkout terms promise returns within 60 days of purchase. To be safe, decide within 60 days and request any refund through ClickBank rather than relying on the 90-day figure. Because it is a download, the guarantee is your only protection.
Who should be careful
- Anyone with epilepsy or a seizure disorder should speak to a doctor before using brainwave-entrainment audio.
- Do not listen while driving or doing anything else that needs your full attention.
- If you are noticing real changes in memory or thinking, see a doctor rather than relying on an audio program.
Realistic expectations
At $39 with a refund window, The Genius Switch is a cheap experiment if you like the idea of a daily listening routine — but expect relaxation and a habit, not a rewired brain. If you are choosing between brain-audio programs, The Genius Wave at least tells you what you are buying — see The Genius Switch vs The Genius Wave.
✅ Pros
- Inexpensive: a one-time $39, with nothing to swallow and nothing shipped.
- A money-back guarantee advertised at 90 days, with refunds handled through ClickBank.
- A relaxing daily listening routine can genuinely help some people feel calmer and more focused.
- Instant digital access.
❌ Cons
- The written sales page does not say how long the sessions are, how many tracks there are or what kind of audio is used - it is all inside a video.
- No published research shows that audio can "activate" the corpus callosum; the cited studies are about its anatomy, not about sound.
- One cited "reference" is a PSYCH-K self-help PDF rather than a scientific paper.
- The small print says testimonials may be dramatized via digital avatars, some featuring people connected to the creators.
- The site's refund page is copied from a physical supplement (60 days, unopened bottles), contradicting the 90-day promise.

The Genius Switch Money-Back Guarantee
The sales page promises a 90-day money-back guarantee. The refund policy linked from the site, however, belongs to a different, physical product and gives a 60-day limit, so the safest course is to request any refund through ClickBank's order support at clkbank.com within 60 days of purchase. As an instant download, the guarantee is your only protection.
Frequently Asked Questions
A digital audio series sold for $39 at geniusswitchoriginal.com, with checkout handled by ClickBank. Its sales video claims the audio "activates" the corpus callosum, the connection between the brain's two hemispheres, to boost brain power and creativity.
The written sales page does not say; the details are in its video. Descriptions elsewhere range from 7 to 30 minutes a day, but most come from affiliate pages, so treat them with caution.
No trial of The Genius Switch has been published. Most of the references on its page are genuine studies about the corpus callosum, but none tests audio. Research on brain audio such as binaural beats shows small, inconsistent effects.
The page's own disclaimer says user experiences "may be dramatized via digital avatars" and that some of the people featured have a personal connection to the creators.
The sales page promises 90 days, but the refund policy linked from the site belongs to a different, physical product and says 60 days. ClickBank's checkout terms promise returns within 60 days, so the safest route is to request a refund through ClickBank's order support at clkbank.com within 60 days of purchase.
Yes. The ClickBank checkout shows a single $39 digital product with immediate access. Outside the US, local tax may be added and the total is shown in your currency.
They are very similar $39 audio programs with the same refund terms. The Genius Wave states its format - a 12-minute daily session - and scores 3.4 on our rubric against The Genius Switch's 3.2. See our comparison of the two.

Five weighted criteria — see our full methodology.
Whether the label discloses how much of each ingredient it contains, rather than hiding amounts inside a proprietary blend.
Whether the finished product has been tested in a published trial, or the claims rest on research into individual ingredients.
Monthly cost at the single-unit price, compared against the rest of the category.
Length of the refund window measured against the trial period the vendor itself recommends.
How the product is sold: sales channel, checkout upsells, subscription defaults and how clearly the offer is presented.
Not a supplement, but the written page does not even say how long the sessions are or what kind of audio is used, so it scores below The Genius Wave on transparency. The corpus callosum premise has no research behind it as an audio effect, and brain-audio research generally is small and inconsistent. Marked down on buying experience for testimonials the page admits may be digital avatars of people connected to the creators, and a refund page copied from a physical supplement that contradicts the 90-day promise.
Final Verdict
The Genius Switch is a cheap, low-commitment product built on a claim that runs far beyond its evidence. The corpus callosum is real and most of the studies the page cites about it are genuine, but none shows that an audio recording can switch anything on, and research on brain audio in general is small-scale and inconsistent.
What keeps it at 'mixed' rather than worse is the price and the refund window. If you want to try a daily listening routine, $39 is not much to risk - but discount the testimonials, which the page admits may be digital avatars, and request any refund through ClickBank within 60 days rather than relying on the contradictory 90-day promise.
